Who I am

I'm Guillermo, a software developer (DAM degree) with a cybersecurity specialization, starting a Computer Engineering degree in September. I'm 22, based in Spain.

My professional goal is to work in offensive security and vulnerability research. motobrief is the project where I turn that goal into concrete, documented work.

What motobrief is

motobrief is a technical security research blog focused on the digital ecosystem of modern motorcycles. It's not a motorcycle blog in the traditional sense — no reviews, no horsepower comparisons.

What I publish here are technical analyses on:

• Manufacturer apps — traffic analysis, decompilation, endpoint mapping, data sent to servers.
• Connected devices — GPS anti-theft, Bluetooth trackers, OBD dongles.
• Data privacy — what data apps collect, who they share it with, GDPR compliance.

All research is conducted client-side only — no attacks against servers I don't own. Any significant finding goes through responsible disclosure.

Why this exists

The security ecosystem of modern motorcycles is largely unstudied compared to cars. There's serious CAN bus research for automobiles, but almost nothing equivalent for motorcycles. That's an interesting gap.

I also want to build a technical portfolio that demonstrates what I can actually do, not just what I've studied.

Methodology & tools

Typical stack for analyses: mitmproxy, jadx, apktool, Frida, Burp Suite. Methodological reference: OWASP MASTG .
